Guidelines for supporting your child’s Home Learning Journey Â
The word ‘Home Learning’ brings many emotions to the forefront of people’s minds. Some are glad of some extra insight to their child’s learning and interactions, some fear the battles and some revel in being their child’s ‘teacher’. As Early Years practitioners, the home-school partnership has always been incredibly important to us, but at no point did we think we would have to support children’s learning journeys without them physically being in school. So, we would like to provide support to our families during this time and continue to build upon the trust and positive relationships we have already.Â
We would like to invite you to a webinar led by our EY1 Year Group Leader, Gina Clothier. She has a lot of experience with home learning as a mummy, a teacher and a Year Group Leader. This webinar will provide you with guidelines on supporting your child, advice on how to structure your child’s day whilst learning at home and an insight into why teachers ask your child to do certain things during Google Meets or Seesaw sessions.Â
