DBIS Enrichment Programme Activities 2021-22 Term 1

Dear Parents and Students

 

Welcome back!  It has been over a year and a half since we last had our EPA program running so I’m very excited to inform you of our EPA sign-up for this term!

 

Here is the timeline for enrichment programme activities details:

  • Activity choices will be available for viewing from 9 am on Thursday, 26 August 2021 (Today!)
  • Sign-up will open from 4 pm on Thursday, 26 August to 9 am on Tuesday, 31 August 2021
  • Approval for EPA will be available for viewing from 4 pm on Thursday, 3 September 2021, please check the status in ‘My Activities sign-up’, attendance dates are listed in the ‘My Forthcoming Events’
  • Kindly note the EPA Terms:
    • Term 1.1 – Monday, 6 September to Friday, 8 October
    • Term 1.2 – Monday, 18 October to Friday 3 December
The sign up is NOT a first come first serve allocation but a random by preference number. Please ensure you prioritise the activities and enter a number in order of preference for each of the activities you would like to sign-up.
The description of the activities are shown on CHQ, they can be found on the sign-up page by clicking the blue ‘i’ icon next to the activity.

Please follow the steps below to login to CHQ

  • Early Years and Primary Students, please ask your parents to help you to complete the sign-up on your behalf.
  • Early Years 1, Early Year 2, and Primary Parents please log in with your Parent Portal login details via the ‘Log in with iSAMS’ button.
  • Secondary Students, please complete the sign-up process yourself with login details given via your school email account in the Username and Password fields NOT by clicking on the ‘Log in with iSAMS’ button.

Last but not least, it is important to note all students must complete a temperature check as they enter the main school gate. The security guard will monitor the temperature checks. Sports EPA’s will start at 7.10 am, the gate will open at 7 am so we request that students do not arrive at school until 7 am at the earliest. We wish to avoid groups congregating at the entrance. Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, we are unable to invite parents to watch EPA’s at this time, we ask that parents drop students off at the main gate.
